General Information about the camp
For reasons of site limitations (kitchen, shower, group spaces) and the resources of the facilitators the camp is limited to 35 people in total. We allocate on a first come first served basis so please book early to avoid disappointment.
The intention of this camp is to grow and support a community of people who want to live in a consciousness of compassion and authenticity and to provide an opportunity for us to holiday and play in a space where everyone's needs matter. The flavour of the camp is founded in the teachings of Marshall Rosenberg and his teachings of Nonviolent/Compassionate Communication - also known as NVC.
All ages welcome
... and all NVC experiences welcome.
Come alone or together with others.
To support the inevitable challenges of coming together in this way, we will invite people to be part of small empathy groups – each group having at least one person familiar with giving and receiving NVC empathy.
Holiday time too!
We will take half days free to chill, chat, play, swim, rest, go to the beach, be alone or together with others.
Creating Focus Groups (workshops)
There will be no ‘workshops’ planned – yet we are guessing that there maybe many focus groups offered - and indeed this was our experience last year (see Previous Camps page). If you want a group on ‘parenting’ or 'decision making' or 'NVC in business' for example you can ask for one to happen or offer to facilitate a group enquiry/sharing into a particular topic.
Food and eating
We provide delicious and abundant vegetarian meals - and we aim to cater for special diets where we can. Meals included in the cost.
